Hrithik Roshan admits he is more inclined towards action entertainers

Hrithik Roshan who was recently seen starring in WAR along with Tiger Shroff opened up about his love for action and how it was a challenge for him to transform after Super 30

Hrithik Roshan is having a great year after his success with his two latest film War and Super 30. WAR starring Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor which released on  October 2, 2019, has been received well by fans. The movie is a huge hit and is also doing extremely well at the box office. WAR is also said to be the biggest opener of the year with a stupendous collection of Rs. 51.50 crore. Over the weekend the film recorded a growth of 30% raking in 35.5-36 crore nett. The total box office collection of WAR is Rs.158 crore nett.

WAR is an all-out action drama and talking about his love for action entertainers, Hrithik in a recent interview stated, “I love the nuance, aesthetics and subtlety of action movies. I also love the fact that this genre requires both composure and frenzy. I’m more inclined towards action entertainers, which my favourite genre.” It was a huge challenge for Hrithik to work on War as he began filming for the same after Super 30’s schedule. In super 30, Hrithik had to maintain a lean body while in War he needed to have a muscular one.  

Talking about the transformation challenge, Hrithik said, “I was in a bad shape. My waist was wider and I was lazy. The process of transformation was very tough as I had only two months in hand for it.” He also got someone to film the whole process of his transformation to get the body he needed to play his role as Kabir in War. He said, “If the film turns out well, then I will show it to my audience.”
