Pakistani actor Fawad Khan who made his Bollywood debut in Shashanka Ghosh’s Directional Khoobsurat also impressed fans in other Bollywood films like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Kapoor & Sons with his charming looks and acting skills. The actor has shared the news of his upcoming Pakistani TV show Barzakh on his Instagram account and some of the fans were not happy with the title.
Taking to his Instagram account, Fawad Khan shared the poster of his upcoming Pakistani show Barzakh, written and directed by Asim Abbasi, and wrote: “Barzakh welcomes you to the land of nothingness – where love and life find new meaning” and is collaborating with his Zindagi Gulzar Hai co-star Sanam Saeed for the upcoming show. The duo’s chemistry was loved and appreciated by fans of that old show and now fans can’t wait to see them together again.

Fawad Khan’s post caused a stir among his fans. While some expressed their excitement in the comments, others criticized the title. The TV show is directed by Asim Abbasi, who directed the feature film Cake and the drama web series Churails. Produced by Waqas Hassan and Shailja Kejriwal, Fawad Khana, and Sanam Saeed-Star will have their world premiere at Series Mania Festival.
The show will air on ZEE5 Global star Fawad Khan a family drama that revolves around an old man’s search for love. “Barzakh” explores the intergenerational trauma between parents and children. The story takes place in a fantastical world of supernatural beings and otherworldly events that reveal the chasms between life, death, and rebirth.
