Ezra Miller has been surrounded by controversies and legal battles for a long time. And recently he has reportedly been fired from playing The Flash in Warner Bros and DC’s superhero film series following a string of legal controversies. The actor, who identifies as nonbinary, has played Barry Allen aka The Flash since 2016 when they first appeared in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice as the super speed hero.
The character is set to feature in the spin-off film The Flash which will see the character take the centre stage but the release has been hit by Ezra’s recent legal battles. The actor has been arrested twice in Hawaii in recent months due to allegations of being involved in physical altercations with members of the public on the island. They have also been accused of harassment by the parents of one young woman.
Moreover, the actor has a temporary harassment prevention order against them amid allegations involving a 12-year-old child. Now reports have suggested Ezra will be fired from the DC cinematic universe once The Flash is released next year. The planned movie, The Flash, has had a long and troubled production timetable with the film originally supposed to be released in March 2018.

However, filming was delayed until 2019 after bosses waited to hire Andy Muschietti as the director. Filming was further delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic with the release date moving first to June 2022, then November 2022, before ultimately being moved again to June 2023.
The film has cost a reported $200 million and includes the hiring of both Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck to reprise their respective versions of Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, with fans excited to see the actors back on screen. Michael, who played Batman in Tim Burton’s films in 1989 and 1992, is also set to reprise his role in the upcoming film Batgirl which is due to be released via HBO at some point before the end of the year.
