Ranbir Kapoor and his infamous relationships, one can’t simply deny that Ranbir is indeed very romantic, his offscreen relationships are far more famous than his movies! When the actor recently shared about one of his ex-girlfriends and shared detail about their relationship, fans started speculating if it was connected to Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif, two of his ex-girlfriends. On being asked about how his ex-girlfriends somehow always receive fewer trophies than him, Ranbir shared,
“There has been a girlfriend of mine, every time we used to have a fight, she used to break an award.” He added with a laugh, “I used to go, ‘Arre, woh Filmfare haath mat lagana (don’t touch my Filmfare Award).’”
The actor had accepted accusations of infidelity in his past relationships. For the unversed, the actor had cheated in his past relationships, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor had even shared this publicly in an interview. Confessing about the same, the actor said,
“Yes, I have cheated, out of immaturity, out of inexperience, out of taking advantage of certain temptations, out of callousness. You realize it now when you grow up and you value it more why be in a relationship, why be committed to someone when you cannot be committed? I’ve realized that now. That’s why I don’t want to jump into a relationship with anybody because … unless you have a special bond, a special equation with somebody, somebody who you can be committed to, somebody who can trust you, who you can respect, there’s no point.”
All of his exes, Ranbir’s relationship with Deepika was loved the most by their fans. The couple too didn’t shy away and made their relationship public, with their cute acts of PDA. Unfortunately, when the two broke up, Ranbir wished to remain Deepika’s friend forever.
“wish that she (his ex-girlfriend, Deepika Padukone) is my friend all my life. She has moved on and so have I. But you can’t cut off a person from your life because your relationship is not working. She has been a part of my life when I was growing up and we shared a beautiful relationship. I wouldn’t like to stay away from her because we are not together” he shared.
Ranbir is recently dating Alia Bhatt for the past 3 years, the two seem very much in love! The two in fact would’ve tied the knot last year itself if it wasn’t for the pandemic, but now plan to get married by next year.
“I really want to have a family really soon, I want to get married, I wanna be in love. But this image which suddenly I have of this Casanova and this heartbreaker is a bit contradictory to how I actually saw my life and how I would want to live my life. So I hope with time I’m gonna meet that person” Ranbir had shared before meeting Alia.
