Actress Dia Mirza had recently got married for the second time to Mumbai-based businessman Vaibhav Rekhi. The couple had tied the knot in February and recently went to the Maldives to enjoy their honeymoon. While we were going gaga over Dia’s beautiful pictures from the island, she gave us a piece of exciting news.
Dia announced her pregnancy via her Instagram post. Wearing a floral dress, she flaunted her baby bump. She wrote in the caption, “Blessed to be…One with Mother Earth…One with the Life Force that is the beginning of everything…Of all stories. Lullabies. Songs. Of new saplings. And the blossoming of hope. Blessed to cradle this purest of all dreams in my womb.”
Congratulatory wishes are pouring in for the couple.
This would be Dia’s first child. She was previously married to Sahil Sangha. They got married in 2014 and parted ways in 2019. On the other hand, Dia’s second husband Vaibhav Rekhi is already a father to a teenage daughter. Interestingly, Dia’s step-daughter had accompanied her to the Maldives recently.
