As he turned 80, many filmmakers and actors including Anil Kapoor, Karan Johar, Shilpa Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal, and Sara Ali Khan among others shared birthday messages for the legendary actor.
Anil Kapoor uploaded multiple throwback pictures with Amitabh Bachchan. Recalling old shoot days he wrote, “Happy 80th Birthday @amitabhbachchan! Here’s to shared memories over the years! Wishing you all the health & happiness always!”
Riteish Deshmukh too shared flashback memories with Amitabh Bachchan on his Instagram post. Filmmaker Karan Johar shared a multiple picture of him with Amitabh Bachchan and penned a heartfelt note. KJo wrote, “Amitabh Bachchan is not just an institution, a legend, a masterclass in acting… he is a feeling! A feeling that takes us back to the first time we whistled and clapped on a superstar entry, applauded a punchline, danced in the isles of a cinema.”

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan is hosting the 14th season of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. His latest release Goodbye released in theaters on 7th October. Big B will be next seen in Rajshri’s Uunchai alongside Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, and Parineeti Chopra. The film on three friends will open in cinemas on 11th November 2022.
