Bollywood actor and film producer, Abhishek Bachchan has numerous awards and accolades to his name. The actor made his debut with the hit 2004 action thriller Dhoom and went on to star in several more successful movies. Later his works were seen in the role of producer and playback singer in the industry. Being a sports enthusiast and businessman, Abhishek co-owns Indian Super League football team (Chennaiyin FC) and Pro Kabaddi League (Jaipur Pink Panthers).

Son to Bollywood’s iconic superstar, Amitabh Bachchan, and Jaya Bachchan, started studied in Jamnabai Narsee School and Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai, and later Modern School in New Delhi. Following that, dropped from Boston University for Bollywood. The actor suffered from dyslexia but did not make him affect in pursuing him his Bollywood dreams.

His father is the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, and his mother is the iconic actress Jaya Bachchan, formerly Jaya Bhaduri. On the 20th of April, 2007, Abhishek Bachchan got married to Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai at the Bachchan's family residence 'Prateeksha', in Juhu, which was one of the most extensively covered weddings in Indian television history.

Making his debut with the 2000 film, Refugee he went to get his first achieve the award for Best Supporting Actor by Filmfare for his role in the political drama film, Yuva, in 2004. Later he adjoined the big banner, Yash Raj films' for the blockbuster film, Dhoom. Furthermore, he was awarded again by the Filmfare for Best Supporting Actor for films like crime comedy Bunty Aur Babli and Godfather tribute, Sarkar. 

In 2006, Jr. Bachchan joined Karan Johar's romantic drama Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and took back his role as a policeman in Dhoom 2. His work in Mani Ratnam's Guru received several critical reviews which are based on billionaire businessman Dhirubhai Ambani’s rise which marked Abhishek’s best performance till now. Now when talking about his achievements, Bachchan was also nominated at the Filmfare for Sarkar Raj and Dostana.

In 2009, starred and produced a film, Paa won a National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. But then he suddenly had to face the dark side of his career with continuing fails in the Boxoffice between 2010 to 2012, but Bol Bachchan marked as his comeback to the cinema. In the next year, Dhoom 3, went on to be one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films and the highest grossing Bollywood film abroad, earning over 4 million INR in just 10 days of its release.

Last year in 2016, Abhishek’s Housefull 3, earned more than 100 crore rupees worldwide, on its opening weekend. Currently, he is waiting for his Hera Pheri 3 to be released starring opposite John Abraham, Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty.
