The Accidental Prime Minister Review

Well, its raining biopics and its raining trailers it seems. While the trailer of Thackeray took us back to time to relive the Shiv Sena Supremo's era once again, here comes another trailer now depicting the life of the former Prime Minister Of India, The Accidental Prime Minister.

The film chronicles the life of politician-economist Manmohan Singh who served as India's Prime Minister from 2004-2014.

Let us tell you that Anupam Kher has just aced the character like a boss. When it comes to portraying real-life characters, no one but Anupam Kher has the potential to pull it off. Right from his attire to his voice, everything is just top-notch. From the dialogues to the entire execution, Anupam just knows how to do it with ease.

"Everything about Dr Manmohan Singh is very difficult. I took about six to seven months to prepare for this role. I must have seen at least 100 hours of footage, but the most difficult part was getting his voice right," said the actor.

Akshaye Khanna will be playing the role of Sanjaya Baru on whose book the film is based on. Akshaye has delivered some phenomenal characters and this time too he has his game right.

Debutant Director Vijay Gutte and is all set to hit the theatres on January 11, 2019.
