Thackeray Review

After giving us a glimpse of the film Thackeray with the teaser, the much-awaited trailer of the film is finally released. As it passed the censor test after going through the censor scissors, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's film trailer is already trending.

Based on the life of Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray who ruled the politics of the country just by sitting in his house and without any title, Thackeray throws light on all the others aspects of his life.

So Nawaz outshines any Bollywood actor to become this Shiv Sena Supremo. Right from the bomb blasts to the issue of Ram Mandir, the trailer has it all. Nawazuddin looks exactly like Balasaheb Thackeray.

"Unfolding the real story of Balasaheb Thackeray's courage, wisdom & indomitable truth. The tiger who was known for fearing none" read the official synopsis of the film.

Thackeray has been directed by Abhijit Panse and written by Shiv Sena politician Sanjay Raut. The film will be distributed by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, who promoted the trailer release with a special video.

Thackeray is all set to release on January 25, 2018, and will face competition from Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Emraan Hashmi's Cheat India and Hrithik Roshan's Super 30.
