Padmavati Review

No other man but Sanjay Leela Bhansali has the vision to create epic love story sagas. After Devdas and Bajirao Mastani its Padmavati, the magnum opus which will hit the theatres in December this year. The first look of Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji are out and have taken the excitement of the audience to sky high limits. The teaser was supposed to release somewhere close to Dusshera but the makers directly decided to release the trailer. Yes! The much-awaited trailer of Padmavati is out and boasts of an enchanting period drama.

The three-minute long trailer is as grand as the film. It starts with music and has very fewer dialogues. It introduces us to Rani Padmavati and her husband Maharawal Ratan Singh. We also get a glimpse of their love story in it. The mighty Alauddin Khilji marks his entry and you get goosebumps while watching Ranveer's mighty and ferocious avatar. The way he walks, the way he fights, that kohl eyes with rage-filled in it and his strength. Ranveer has set an example of how the real Alauddin Khilji would be. Well, we will not reveal everything here as it would spoil the excitement of watching.

We are sure that you must be watching the trailer in a loop as we too cannot contain our excitement. Padmavati, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions. Witness this magnum opus in theatres near you on December 1 this year.
