Pad Man Review

Akshay Kumar's film Pad Man created much hype on the internet when the day it was announced. After the motion poster, everyone was eagerly waiting for the trailer to come out. Well, to tell you the makers have released the trailer of the film. Yes. Akshay shared it on his Twitter handle and captioned it as, "Presenting the much awaited #PadManTrailer, this one's for the mad ones, the ones who are crazy enough to change the world @PadManTheFilm @sonamakapoor @radhika_apte @mrsfunnybones @SonyPicsIndia @kriarj #RBalki."

The trailer shows Akshay as Lakshmikant Chauhan, the sanitary superhero who is on a mission to discover the cheapest sanitary napkins for the rural people. Amitabh Bachchan's voice marks the beginning of the trailer as he hits the dialogue ‘America Ke Paas Superman hai, Batman hai, Spiderman hai, lekin India ke paas Pad Man hai.'

While he is making his discovery, Akshay pitches the idea to his sisters and wife to use the sanitary napkins but fails as they refuse to use them. Embarrassed by his gesture, Akshay's wife Gayatri (Radhika Apte) leaves him. The first half of the trailer shows Akshay with Radhika and the second half marks the entry of Sonam Kapoor.

Sonam as the social worker flashes in the trailer as she helps him in his mission. It is Akshay's speech at a conference which is the highlight of the trailer. His dialogues will leave you in splits but then he is Akshay Kumar right- The gem of an actor!

No one can match Akshay's acting abilities and we must say Superhero Hai Yeh Pagla! Pad Man produced by Twinkle Khanna under her banner Mrs Funnybones Movies and helmed by R. Balki, releases on January 26, 2018.
