Fanney Khan Review

After creating a much hype on the internet, the trailer of Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Rajkummar Rao starrer Fanney Khan released a day back.

The trailer depicts the story of a common man played by Anil Kapoor, who can go to any extent to showcase his daughter's singing talent to the world.

His daughter, too, is facing her own issues - body shaming at school, struggling to fit among her peers and the likes.

It also shows Anil and Rajkummar plan to kidnap Aishwarya who plays a pop star in the film. Of course, they mess up the kidnapping.

The trailer is filled with emotions and offers a roller-coaster ride. Fanney Khan is an official remake of a Belgian film 'Everybody's Famous', and is a winsome ode to the imperishable reputation of Lata Mangeshkar as the queen of all things melodious.

It spotlights and contours the Nightingale's aura with endearing humour and warmth and gives us a spunky 17-year old heroine who won't be cowed down by her parents' middle-class anxieties.

While sharing the trailer on his Twitter handle Anil wrote "Ek hai raaz aur dusra hai #FanneyKhan ka andaaz! Honge iske sapne poore? ... #FanneyKhanTrailer #AishwaryaRai @RajkummarRao @divyadutta25 @TSeries @fanneykhanfilm @ROMPPictures @AtulManjrekar #VirenderArora #NishantPitti"
