Bhoomi Review

Sanjay Dutt is back and how! The superstar of the millennium will mark his comeback in Bollywood with the film ‘Bhoomi,' the posters of which were released a few days back. Touted as the revenge drama of the year, Sanjay Dutt will set milestones with his acting. The trailer of the film was unveiled today and it seems that Sanju baba is back with more power. It has already crossed 7000 views on YouTube in just a few minutes.

The trailer shows the story of a father and his daughter. Like every father, he too dreams of his daughter's happy life and chose a guy with whom she will share a happy life. But fate has some different plans for them. What is the tragedy that hits them? We get the answer after one minute of the trailer as we are introduced to the character of Sharad Kelkar. He plays the baddie in the film and presumably sexually assaults Bhoomi aka Aditi Rao Hydari in the film. The revenge drama starts here as the father leaves no stone unturned to seek justice for his daughter. But we are stunned in the last few seconds of the trailer as he himself accepts in the law of court that his daughter is characterless.

Earlier director Omung Kumar had said in an interview that this is Sanjay's best performance till date. And going by the trailer we too agree with his decision. While there are many stories based on father-daughter relationships, this revenge drama promises to be a little bit different.
