Baadshaho Review

Baadshaho has been one movie of the most anticipated movie of 2017 but with such a loose and weak teaser; it failed to make any impact or impression on us! The very first thought that we had, the moment the teaser was out the question that is it yet another copy of ‘Italian Jobs?’ Thinking what do we mean by ‘yet another’? Well, we all remember the movie ‘Players’ right? Yes, the same Abhishek Bachchan and Bobby Deol disaster. It was exactly the remake of ‘The Italian Job’, and now this too is going on a similar path. Yes, add an interesting backdrop of ‘The Emergency Era’ and bam! Here we go with this movie. Baadshaho is all about a story of 5 thieves who trying to make it big during the whole chaotic era of Emergency. With Ajay Devgn being Ajay Devgn (Add a Rajasthani accent to him) and Emraan Hashmi also being Emraan Hashmi (Again add a Rajasthani accent to him too) we wonder if there was anything new the movie had to offer us? Nope, is the word!
The movie also has Vidyut Jamwal and Esha Gupta with Ileana Dcruz. Although we hardly got to see any glimpses of them, all in all, it appeared like a bhelpuri of emotions, action and sensation!

Milan Luhtria who has given us some of the biggest hits like ‘The Dirty Picture’, ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbai’ series, can be the only person we could expect from this movie. For now, let’s hope for a better trailer that gets us excited for some time at least.

The Verdict

All in all Baadshaho looks like a perfect Indian Masala Movie, which has a very high probability to be liked by the masses, but then it becomes a bit questionable for the classes, but then aren’t all Milan Luthria movies meant to be the same? Let’s hope for something different from the trailer at least!
