Players of the Indian National Cricket Team; Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul received immense flak from every corner after their flamboyant comments of the famous chat show ‘Koffee With Karan'.

The amount of criticism received by the particular episode was so immense that the digital broadcasting platform Hotstar decided to bring it down from their website and the episode is no longer available for viewing. The BCCI has also suspended the disgraced cricketer and asked them to return to the country from Australia until further inquiry.

However; amid all the negativity that the two cricketers are facing, they seem to have found support in former skipper and Captain, Sourav Ganguly. Ganguly, has gone on record and urged the public and authorities to be a little more considerate towards the two.

Mr. Ganguly was quoted saying," They are responsible people and they may be role models but they are humans. They are under pressure all the time to perform and certain things happen. We should move on and make sure it doesn't happen again."

While the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI); has suspended the two until an inquiry is done by the Committee of Administration (CoA) and a final quantum of punishment is decided.

Ganguly further went on to say," People make mistakes. Let's not take it too far. I am sure whoever has done it will realize and come out as a better person. We are all human beings, not machines that everything you put out comes out perfect. You just have to live life and let others live."

Pandya's image has suffered a major setback with grooming brand Gillette cutting endorsement ties with the all-rounder and the prestigious Khar Gymkhana revoking its honorary membership given to Hardik.

It has happened for the 2nd time in the history of 83 years of Indian Cricket that players have been disgraced and send back home from an ongoing tournament. Hardik's father has gone on record to say that post the incident; Hardik has stopped going out of the house and is not even answering calls.
