Sakshi Maharaj

As per the reports of leading daily, Sakshi Maharaj, who is Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabah election from Uttar Pradesh's Unnao constituency, has now threatened to curse people if they do not vote for his party. He went on saying, "Shashtra mein likha hai, main shashtro ki baat keh raha hun. Mein daulat ya zameen maangne nahi aaya hun. Mein wo vote maangne aaya hun jisse 1.5 crore Bharatiyon ki kismet sudharni hai."

Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur

Prime accuse in 2008 Malegaon blast and BJP's candidate from Bhopal Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. She has said that 26/11 martyr Hemant Karkare died because she "cursed" him. According to reports, Sadhvi Pragya had bragged, "I told him (Hemant Karkare) you will be destroyed, and was gone in less than two months." Days after apologizing for her statement she again managed to shock us when she said that she doesn't regret demolishing Babri Masjid. Bragging about it Sadhvi said, "Why would we regret the demolition of the Babri Masjid? We are, in fact, proud of it. There were some waste products of the Ram temple and we removed it. This has awakened the self-respect of our country and we will construct a grand Ram temple."

Ramesh Katara

As per reports, BJP legislator from Fatehpura in Gujarat, Ramesh Katara, threatened voters saying that people who vote for Congress will be identified.

It doesn't end here Katara even claimed about installing cameras in polling booth by none other than PM Modi to find out who did not vote for BJP party candidates in Dahod. He made the controversial remarks while addressing a campaign rally in support of BJP candidate from Dahod, recently.

Katara said, "Press the button (on EVM) having the photo of Bhabhor and lotus symbol. This time, Modi saheb has installed cameras. While sitting there, he would know who had voted for the BJP and who voted in favour of the Congress. If votes (to the BJP) will be less in your booth, you will be given less work. Modi saheb, while sitting there, would find out that you did something wrong. Your photos are there on election card, Aadhaar card and even on ration card".

Abdullah Azam Khan

Samajwadi Party's Azam Khan known for making controversial statements seems to have passed on the legacy to a son Abdullah Khan as he used sickening words against BJP's Jaya Prada. Abdullah who is also SP leader said, "Humein Ali Bhi Chahiye, Bajrang Bali Bhi Chahiye Lekin Anarkali Nahi Chahiye."

HD Kumaraswamy

Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy has some weird logic on why PM Narendra Modi's is more visible on TV channels than any other Indian politician. Kumaraswamy said, "Modi wakes up every morning, applies makeup or wax to get a shine on his face and sits in front of cameras. But we take a bath once in the morning and wash our face only the next day. So, our faces don't look good on cameras. That's why even the media shows only Modi".

Well, as the election season has started it will be interesting to see how low politicians can go to amuse us with their bizarre statements.
