Mytho shows in India have certainly endevoured to mirror the history to the present. However, the consequences become evident due to distortion of the same to suffuse a different approach in the audience.

As Indian television has evolved into presenting the mythological stories with historical characters' perspective, the engagement with the audience has widened its reach to many households. As reported earlier, the announcement of the upcoming mythological show on the small screen has created a lot of attention, as it promises to be unique in its content.

Titled as RadhaKrishn, the series has finally locked in a narrator to take the audience to journey back in time. Popular Bollywood actress Divya Dutta has been roped in to play the narrator of the upcoming show. Commenting on the same, the National Award winning actress said to a leading tabloid, "I am very excited to be part of 'RadhaKrishn'. I am very close to the story of Radha and Lord Krishna. I have grown up listening to the stories but hardly saw any content on the television showcasing their brilliant love saga."

"I am really looking forward to the show and am happy that I got an opportunity to lend my voice to it," she added.

The series, which is produced by Swastik Productions will air on the small screen on October 1 at 9 pm on Star Bharat. The series will star Sumedh Mudgalkar and Mallika Singh in the lead roles.

Meanwhile, amongst an array of amazing films of Divya Dutta, she received warm response for her performance in Gul Makai, a biopic based on activist and Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai which released in June this year.
