It is rumoured that Jose Mourinho will replace Unai Emery as manager of Arsenal as he claimed that he wanted to be the first manager to win major trophies at the three English clubs. Mourinho who has fallen from grace after he had been sacked by Manchester United last December is now trying his hardest for a route back into management and is now linked with Arsenal's north London rivals Tottenham.

Arsenal's boss Unai Emery who became the manager just last summer is now under immense pressure after the poor defensive display that the team followed on repeat. Gunner who was leading lost on a few penalties to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup, and drew 2-2 with Crystal Palace. But the question now arises, 'Would Mourinho really work for Arsenal?' or 'Would he be able to bring about the club's biggest cultural shift in over 20 years?

TRANSFER BUSINESS

Mourinho is known for being backed in the transfer market after working with clubs that offer a considerable transfer kitty to keep him happy. A deal with Mourinho means that the club has to back his judgment of signing the players. With Arsenal in the picture, Mourinho can rest assured that the club will surely offer him money to spend in order to take Arsenal from their current Europa League level to title contenders.

YOUNG PLAYERS

Arsenal who is ready to spend big on famous players, they are known for promoting youth. Giving youth an opportunity is part of Arsenal's DNA. They have a successful academy and also boost the squad numbers when the club competes on three domestic fronts. But that's where Mourinho lacks. He never gave young players a chance. He would argue that he doesn't have the time to help youngsters evolve to mature and more experienced professionals. And the same goes for Arsenal.

TACTICS AND MENTALITY

Tactics and Mentality are what Mourinho would excel in most at Arsenal, as Arsenal is now known for their unfortunate reputation of goofing up on big games. He is known for his 'parking the bus' and coming away with a 1-0 win on the counter-attack and the same was also seen when United played Liverpool. And though he may not promise for it to be the most interesting game, he does the work. But would Arsenal fans be ok with watching a less entertaining football?

BAGGAGE:

Mourinho where ever he has been, is infamous for starting arguments and picking fights, and with Arsenal, especially Wenger, they have been on the receiving end. He even once called Wenger as a 'voyeur' after he got into a fight over transfer policy during his first spell at Chelsea. But if Mourinho helped them get the FA Cup, Europa League, and the Champions League cup, any animosity towards Mourinho that the club or the boss holds, would fade.

AND WHAT ABOUT MESUT OZIL?

The leading issue that Arsenal is currently facing is what to do about Mesut Ozil. After having a fall out at Arsenal this season he has become accustomed to sitting on the bench or being excluded from Emery's squad altogether. But if Mourinho steps in, that will surely be a different story. As Ozil showed best displays of his career under Mourinho at Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013. Also, Mourinho and Ozil got on very well so we think that Mourinho will bring out something worthwhile out of the playmaker.

With Emery continuing to struggle at Arsenal, Mourinho's possibility of replacing him won't go away. Mourinho seems to be the option for every leading manager currently under pressure. But by the end of the day, it's the call of the Arsenal's board and it is clear that Mourinho looks like a better fit for Arsenal than quite a few other clubs right now.
