Telugu actress Mumaith Khan, who is currently living in the luxuries of the ‘Bigg Boss' house in Lonavala has been asked to appear in front of the Special Investigative Team (SIT) for questioning regarding her possible links with the recently busted drug scandal in the Tollywood film industry. According to the reports from several sources close to the development, Mumaith Khan will be leaving the house and rushing straight to Hyderabad, where she is all set to face the Special Investigative Team (SIT) in July 27. Earlier, the officials from SIT tried to serve her a notice to present herself in front of the questioning committee were apparently unable to do so as she was not available at her residential addresses. They were reportedly caught off-guard after knowing that she has entered the ‘Bigg Boss' house, where she will be locked up for about 70 days.

According to the reports from Times of India, it is being suggested that SIT reached the actress through the show runners and the actress has also agreed to appear for the questioning on July 27. It is also being reported that the actress, once free from the questioning may also re-enter the house and continue in the show. As in the Bollywood version of Bigg Boss, the contestants who had to leave the house in case of emergencies were allowed to re-enter the house and continue as the contestants of the show. As of July 19, The SIT officials have started questioning some of the biggest names in Telugu cinema after their names surfaced in a drug investigation.
