Among many other high-profile names that surfaced in the latest drug scandal in The Tollywood, Mumaith Khan was also one. According to the reports the officials of the Special Investigative Team had been trying in vain to locate the actress' whereabouts to send her the notice, telling her to appear in front of the Investigative Team. According to the reports from several sources, the officials were not able to send her the notice, as she was unavailable in her residence both in Mumbai and Hyderabad.

The reports further suggests that the Special Investigative team have finally located her and were shocked when they came to known that the actress is part of the recently released Bigg Boss Telugu. This came after the producers of the show kept tight-lipped about the names of the contestants that were going to spend their coming days in the house of Bigg Boss Telugu, with no connection to the outside world. The first episode of the show aired on this past Sunday, where the host of the show Jr. NTR introduced the 14 contestants for the first time. At the moment the SIT officials are contemplating a way to serve the notice to actress Mumaith Khan at her present address of Bigg Boss's house in Lonavala, where she will remain confined until she is evicted.  

The formal questioning of the suspects has started from today and will continue till 27th of July. Among some of the prominent names, apart from Mumaith Khan are Puri Jagannadh, Ravi Teja, Charmee Kaur, P Navdeep, Tarun Kumar, A Tanish and P Subbaraju among others.
