Actor Kamal Haasan recently took to his twitter account to vent his frustration against the Tamil Nadu government on Independence Day. The actor has been pretty vocal about his political stance in the past few months and has been pretty straightforward in his views when criticising the state government. Reacting to the tweet, the government's Revenue Minister RB Udhaya Kumar gave an interview to NDTV recently in which he called Kamal Haasan a mentally ill person. "I think he wants to say something to the people but doesn't know how to say. Maybe he is having some mental disorder. That's our conclusion, he's got some mental disorder," he said.

The actor has been regularly pointing out the government over the past few months and has strongly said multiple times that there is a lot of corruption in the government. When Congress asked for the resignation of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath due to the recent Gorakhpur tragedy, Kamal replied by saying that why no one demands resignation of Tamil Nadu CM due to corruption charges. It is being speculated that Kamal may enter politics soon and his fans are keeping a close eye on the actor as it is being rumoured that he may join DMK party. At a time when Rajinikanth is also being speculated to join politics, it remains to be seen if Kamal will make his own political party or join an existing one. On the other hand, Rajinikanth is expected to create his own political party in the coming months.
