This actress to play the female lead in the Malayalam remake of 'Queen'

Actress Kangana Ranaut's Hindi film ‘Queen' was a critical as well as a commercial success and proved to be the most important film of the actress' career. The film is being remade in all four South Indian film industries and the film's Malayalam version will feature actress Manjima Mohan as the lead. The film has been titled ‘Zam Zam' and Manjima is thrilled to be a part of the project and expressed her happiness through a tweet. The makers are yet to announce the film's director and other cast members and it remains to be seen who else will be associated with the project.

The film's Tamil version was also announced recently and it has been titled ‘Paris Paris'. Actress Kajal Agarwal will play Kangana's character in the Tamil version and the makers have already released its first look. Filmmaker Ramesh Aravind will direct the film's Tamil version. On the other hand, actress Tamannaah Bhatia will play the lead in the Telugu remake of the film. Talking about the project, Tamannaah recently said, "Queen is an interesting film and I have always been motivated by roles that help alleviate women empowerment in some form. I am very excited to be helming the Telugu version and can't wait to start shooting next month."

The film also is directed by Ramesh in the Kannada version and it has been titled Butterfly and will feature actress Parul Yadav as the lead. The Kannada version is already in the works and the team has started working on it.
