Meghan Markle's father Thomas Markle will not be heading to England to attend his daughter's Royal wedding as he suffered a heart attack last week and will be undergoing surgery.

But it is reported that the royal event will still go on as planned and there a good reason too for not postponing the wedding.

A source close to Meghan revealed, "Though Meghan is sad and upset over her father's mishaps, cancelling or postponing the wedding is not an option that she considering. She wants to marry Harry and just can't wait to be his wife. So its very saddening that her wedding will have to go as planned without her dad being there."

There are more than 600 guests that are expected to be present on the big day and almost 2 billion people all over the world set to be viewing the wedding and having her wedding postponed will only cause a lot of issues.

Now as the wedding is set to take place on May 19th Meghan is very concerned about her father's condition and plans to keep him on her mind throughout her big day.

The source further states, "She is happy that her father will be able to view the wedding since it is going to be everywhere even though she wants for him to be there in person. As for who will be giving her away on her big day, well those decision is yet to be made."

Though it's not yet confirmed, it is reported that her mother Doria Ragland, will most likely to walk Meghan Markle down the aisle in place of her dad Thomas Markle. Though there was a lot of back and forth whether or not Thomas Markle would attend the wedding in the last few days this latest decision looks like it may be the final one.

We wish Thomas Markle a healthy procedure and speedy recovery and we also hope Meghan, Prince Harry, and their families can continue to find happiness on the wedding day.
