Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4 was as exciting as it could get! Fans seem to have had a mixed bag of emotions as there were many moments had had us tear up, such as Jaime leaving Brienne behind while he heads off back to King's Landing or even Missandei's death. The episode also had a lot of fans complaining, of course about the Starbucks coffee cup controversy, as a coffee cup was seen right in front of Daenerys Targaryen, during the celebratory dinner scene. But there was another scene that sparked anger in fans and also made some question 'if Jon just not have a heart?'

Jon was seen gearing up to fight alongside Queen Dany, as they prepare to leave Winterfell. He sadly bid goodbye to Tormund, Samwell and Gilly, while he also asked Tormund to take Ghost along as he is not suited to the South. He was then seen looking at Ghost, just gives him a nod and leaves without even a goodbye. This gesture of Jon got fans furious as people think Ghost deserved better. And if ypu remember, Ghost even lost an ear while fighting in the battle of Winterfell.

But GOT director David Nutter now revealed the real reason why Jon didn't pet his wold. He in an interview stated, "Since the direwolves are kind of CG creations, we felt it best to keep it as simple as possible. And, I think that it played out much more power that way." He also revealed that with Ghost at a side, that part played out even better as it gave Jon Snow time to be with Tormund and Gilly, and later one last moment with his wolf, Ghost. He further added, "Then he just walks off by himself, he turns to Ghost and has this moment with Ghost that I thought was very, very powerful."

Now as that is cleared, even the random Starbucks coffee cup that went viral on social media is also digitally removed and that future airing of "The Last of the Starks" would be of the non-coffee cup version.
