Liam Payne surprised all his One Direction fans everywhere when he shocking revealed he's hoping to reunite with the members of the band during the holidays. Seems like our wishes are coming true this Christmas. Liam who appeared on Capital FM at the Jingle Bell Ball in London admitted that he yet talks to a few of his bandmates and he hopes they would all join in in the next few weeks.

Liam said, "I spoke to Niall [Horan] the other day. We were both super jet-lagged and he, like, texted me at two o'clock in the morning ... and we spent like four hours on FaceTime ... we had a really good laugh! I think everyone is in London at the moment. Which is cool - for the first time - it's the closest we've been as a band in a while."

Though Liam didn't reveal if this reunion would include Zayn Malik, who had quit from the band in Mar. 2015. There is yet reported to be some friction between the "Pillow Talk" singer and the other members of 1D are not so sure if he'd play a part. We got a glimpse of that frictions earlier this week when Louis Tomlinson took to Twitter to slam Zayn. He wrote, "Good Years. Proper confused. What a hypocrite!," clearly dissing Zayn's new song.

Even though there is tension between the band members, Zayn, Louis and the other three members of One Direction are all enjoying pretty successful solo careers. Louis released a few new songs from his new upcoming debut album, while Niall released his highly successful album Flicker last year. Even Liam released his EP First Time in Aug. of this year, and Harry Styles released his own self-titled album in May of last year.
