Actress Jennifer Aniston has been in the entertainment industry for more than 20 years now, but she has revealed in a recent interview that she does not enjoy working in a war drama. The 47 year old stress will be seen in an Iran war drama titled ‘The Yellow Birds’ which has been directed by Alexandre Moors. She also said that she finds these kind of films hard to watch. “War movies aren’t usually my thing. I find them very hard to watch, but the way this script read, and the vision that Alex had, it was really connecting into the humanity of the soldiers, the parents that are left behind waiting, counting the minutes, the loss of innocence,” she said. She went on to say that, she has an immense amount of respect for the services that the soldiers provide for the citizens of the country. She also expressed gratitude to anyone who goes and fights for the country, be it men or women. She described them as ‘heroes’. Aniston also admitted that she immersed herself into the story and connected with some of the reality that innocent people face. Other than Aniston, the film also stars Jack Huston, Alden Ehrenreich and Tye Sheridan in important roles. Aniston achieved stardom through her popular TV show ‘FRIENDS’ and the actress has no issues returning back to the television as she feels that the content and quality present in television is on par with the movies that are being made these days.
