Jennifer Aniston all set to star in a comedy for STXfilms

This upcoming comedy film will mark the second time for actress Jennifer Aniston that she would be seen working with STXfilms.

According to the reports from The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Aniston is in advanced talks to star in a yet-to-be titled suburban-set comedy that is being developed under the banner of STXfilms. The reports further suggest that Sophie Goodhart, who directed and also penned down the script of the Adam Scott-Nick Kroll comedy ‘My Blind Brother', is all set to once gain helm the project, whose script has been written by her only.

The story of the yet-to-be titled movie revolves around an over-scheduled and over-burdened suburban couple who go to great lengths to try to recapture the fun of their youth. The reports further suggest that the writers and the producers are working on the film with a goal to make it a fun R-rated film.

STXfilms, who in the past had a big hit with their film ‘Bad Moms', which grossed over $113 million on the domestic market, are looking to keep the momentum going with not only this project but also the sequel of the 2016 movie. The sequel of ‘Bad Moms' would hit the screens later this year.

Sophie Goodhart's project is set up at Safehouse Pictures, with Joby Harold and Tory Turnell producing it. Meanwhile Matt Schwartz and Douglas Banker would be serving as the executive producers of the film. In addition to this, Sam Brown will be overseeing the project for STXfilms along with some help form his colleagues - Drew Simons and Jeannette Francis.
