James Corden celebrated his 38th Birthday by joining Coldplay on stage during their performance at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. James and Chris Martin sang a song as a tribute to Prince.

Talk Show host James Corden recently joined Coldplay on stage at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. And James along with Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin sang Nothing Compares 2 U as a tribute to the Late classic singer, Prince during their show. And since James was celebrating his 38th birthday, Coldplay along with his 50,000 concertgoers sang Happy Birthday for the beloved talk show host. Check out the clip.

Chris Martin introduced the talk show host by saying, “Introducing James, who turned 38 this week”. And continued to say, “I’m very pleased to tell you that in honor of Prince tonight – because we wanna honor Prince – we managed to convince our missing and best member to come back into the band.” Chris then joked by saying, “You may know him from things like Carpool Karaoke and that kind of s***, but we know him as the guy who turned down being in a band with us.” After addressing the crowd how the collaboration actually happened, James added, “So this is an idea that Chris said to me, he said ‘I think you should come sing this at the Rose Bowl.’ “I’ll be honest, I didn’t know how big it was when I said yes.”

How exciting it was and then later took his Twitter handle and described the special day as, “Best birthday present EVER!!!!”, while Coldplay described James as “A man of infinite talent.”
