The Montclair Film Festival is all set and ready to kick off on April 28th. The eleven-day long festival will conclude on May 7th.

Recently, the Montclair Films announced their program for the sixth edition of the festival and this time too, long time booster of the festival Stephen Colbert will be once again seen, moonlighting for the festival. Stephen Colbert and his conversations with acclaimed names from Hollywood will be among the highlights of the lineup. Stephen Colbert will sit down for a conversation with ‘The Night of’ star, John Turturro on April 30th and on May 6th the talk show host will conduct a post-screening discussion with Bill Nye after presenting his upcoming film, ‘Bill Nye: The Science Guy’.

Other high profile films in the Montclair’s lineup include documentaries such as Supergirl, City of Ghost and Casting JonBenet. Along with all this, there will also be two live music presentations at this year’s Montclair. Thomas Lennon’s ‘Sacred’ will be performed at the festival under the direction of Edward Bilous, also Ronaldo Lee will perform following the May 6 screening of ‘Hello Hello Hello: Lee Ranaldo: Electric Trim’.

Montclair Film Executive director, Tom Hall, in a statement said that this year they have been fortunate enough to find filmmakers who are making work that gives depth and shape to the vital conversations of our time. The Executive Director further said that the Montclair Film Festival is an opportunity for bringing audiences together with the incredible artists that are going to show their work at the festival, so that, together, we the people can enjoy and engage with the images, ideas, and insights that are portrayed in these wonderful films. The Montclair Film Festival is all set and ready to kick off on April 28th.
