According to the reports from the Variety, actress Heather Graham along with Kumail Nanjiani, a stand-up comedian and an actor, whose roots go back all the way to Pakistan, along with Taran Killam and Blake Jenner are all set to be honored at the upcoming San Diego Film Festival. The festival is all set to take place from October 4 to October 8. The reports further suggest that the above-mentioned celebrities will be awarded on the night of October 5 at the Variety Night of the Stars Tribute at the Pendry Hotel in San Diego.

Graham Heather will receive the Virtuoso Award, which according to the jury would be presented to her as she has enriched their culture through exceptional accomplishments in the Hollywood Film Industry. Graham broke into Hollywood starring in Gus van Sant's ‘Drugstore Cowboy' and has appeared in ‘Boogie Nights', ‘Hangover' and is all set to be next seen in the upcoming film, titled ‘Law and Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders'.

Meanwhile, Pakistani origin actor Kumail Nanjiani will be presented with the Auteur Award, as his artistic influence in Hollywood results in a significant impact on a film. Kumail Nanjiani is the co-writer, executive producer and the lead actor in a recently released film, titled ‘The Big Sick', which has been widely acclaimed by the critics and the audiences alike. The actor also plays a pivotal role in the famous sitcom TV series, titled ‘Silicon Valley', another performance for which the actor has been critically acclaimed.
