Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke says she does not feel the need to justify her nude scenes in the fantasy drama despite facing constant questions about it

Actress Emilia Clarke, who rose to prominence with her role of Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, wrote a blog on the occasion of International Women's Day for All Women Everywhere edition of the Huffington Post, UK. In her blog she wrote about how boys and girls are equal and by writing her about it in blog she hopes to let people know about it. She also shared her own experience on how her family treated her and her brother. In the blog, she also recounts her experience as an actress too.

She said with her voice that she hopes that the feminist mindset that her family instilled in her, become a new normal and as a result of this, boys and girls are raised as equals. She further, talking from her own experience says that she is in an industry which provides her a platform if she wants to speak out against gender inequality and through this she might be lucky enough to have a chance to be heard. She also said that the roles that she has played have give her an insight into what it feels like to be a woman who stands up to inequality and hate and stand out as feminist.

The 30-year-old actress further talked in indirect way about her nude scenes in Game of Thrones by saying that, "If you've watched Game of Thrones then, spoiler, you will have seen me in the nude. There are plenty of ways in which people want me to respond to questions about this fact. And plenty of reasons why I do not feel the need to justify myself."
