After Ben Affleck decided to get out the director's seat as he thought he will not be able to do both the job of playing and directing the best character and most driven character of DC universe, Warner Brothers took no time to get the director who gave them one of the most successful and gritty franchise Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Matt Reeves.

While we are getting ready to see what Ceaser will have to show in the last part of Apes saga, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Matt has started working on the script of Batman and promoting the third part simultaneously. In a recent interview, Matt revealed that he has always been a big fan of Batman like he was of apes and that made his decision to instantly get on board when asked to direct one of his favorite characters.

But it was not the only reason. Matt also revealed that he has always found Batman's character as the one who is trying to find out the right way to do what he does in a degraded version of this world which makes his character pretty much similar to Caeser played by Andy Serkis in the planet of the apes series.

Well, that was some connection to make. Wasn't it? Interestingly while Batman will be seen in Justice League and then in his stand alone movie, Warner Brothers have also given a green light to the stand alone movie on Caeser which will serve as a prequel to Planet of the Apes which will be directed by the Escapist director Rupert Wyatt.
