After wishing Ariana Grande well on Saturday Night Live in November, Pete Davidson hasn't said much about his relationship. But recently he took to Instagram to call out the singer's fans for bullying him and telling him to kill himself. Pete tried to explain that he's "kept [his] mouth shut" and has not "said a word about anyone or anything"-and yet but he's yet continually harassed by fans because of his past relationship with Ariana Grande. He further wrote, "I'm trying to understand how when something happens to a guy the whole world just trashes him without any facts or frame of reference. Especially in today's climate where everyone loves to be offended and upset it truly is mind boggling."

Check out his whole Instagram post:

Dozens of celebrities flooded Davidson's comments with support and one of them was Davidson's own ex, Ariana, who responded to the SNL star's Instagram in a direct message to a fan. She wrote, "I have never encouraged anything but forgiveness. care deeply about Pete and his health and would never encourage any kind of mistreatment. I haven't seen any of it because I'm blocked, but I want you to know that I would never want or encourage that ever and you should know that. I care about him deeply."

Ariana also retweeted the fan's tweet with her signature black heart emoji. There are the only messages that Ariana and Pete released after their break-up. Before this, Pete did, however, did try to make a few jokes on his Saturday Night Live standup routine, but Ariana chose to stay mum until the release of her song "Thank U, Next," which she mentions about Pete and her other exes.

Yes, we know that breakups are complicated and no one best but Ariana and Pete know what was behind the fallout of their relationship.
