Finally, Mera has emerged from the sea! Hail Queen Mera!

The first look of the Queen Of Atlantis, Mera is out and boy she looks drop dead gorgeous! The fiery haired Queen of Atlantis, the wife of underwater superhero Aquaman, played by Jason Momoa, gave us a sneak peek of her Mera costume from the most awaited movie Aquaman!

Amber Heard dons this green, algae-esque outfit and her long, sea-soaked red hair, looks like it was ripped straight from the pages of the comic book.

Mera's costume in Zack Snyder's movie Justice League is way different from director James Wan's standalone Aquaman! Mera's costume in Aquaman is this sleek bodysuit with metallic green scales and glowing gold accents which perfectly matches her comic book costume. Whereas her costume in Justice League is this pale green color and with shoulder pads?!

James Wan, the director of Aquaman tweeted an image of Amber Heard in Mera's costume and captioned it as, “Lady MERA swept in from the sea, first day with the exquisite Amber Heard.” Even Amber shared a similar image of her in her Mera costume on twitter and captioned it as, "Meet Mera. Day 1 #Aquaman"

Amber to shared on Instagram, that same day a photo of herself getting her makeup done while reading the original Aquaman comic and captioned the image as "Over a year of prep, 6 months of training, & countless hrs of denying myself pleasure, aka donuts, has led to this moment: Day 1.  #Aquaman"

The latter film is being shot in  Australia also stars Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, Temuera Morrison, Dolph Lundgren, Patrick Wilson and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II
