After Krushna Abhishek being the surrogate father, now it is safe to say that surrogacy is more of an accepted term and norm in a country like India. There are many celebrities who have taken up surrogacy and are happy with their kids and some of them are happy being a single parent. Here we give you the list of celebrities who opted surrogacy. 

1. Karan Johar:

Karan Johar is the first Bollywood producer-director who has opted for surrogacy and became the father of beautiful twins. He introduced his beautiful twins, Roohi and Yash with an official statement to the world which he posted on Twitter. KJo named these beautiful twins; after Karan Johar's parents.

2. Shah Rukh Khan:

After Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan is another Bollywood celebrity who opted for surrogacy. Their third child, AbRam Khan was conceived through the IVF and welcomed him to the world. It was said that after AbRam was unwell when he was born and was in the incubator and was very well protected from the papz.

3. Aamir Khan:

Dangal hitmaker, Aamir Khan was already a father of two, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan, with Reena Dutta, but after separation, he married Kiran Rao. The duo wanted a kid, but after Kiran's miscarriage, it left the couple disheartened. Soon, Aamir and Kiran decided to go for surrogacy and welcomed baby Azad Rao Khan.

Tusshar Kapoor is the recent actor who was happy to be a single father. After welcoming his son, Laksshya around June last year and since then daddy Tusshar is very protective him from the paparazzi. Currently, Tusshar Kapoor is not doing any project and is dedicating as much time as required to his little baby boy.

Well, it was a miracle for Neil Patrick Harris and his partner, David Burtka after how they share how they conceived their twins, Harper Grace and Gideon Scott. The couple had fraternal twins, and the eggs were carried by a surrogate mother. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey Neil, Patrick Harris explained the birth of the twins by saying 'Two eggs, two embryos, one of mine, one of his.' 

6. Sarah Jessica Parker:

The Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker and husband, Matthew Broderick welcomed their son, James Wilkie in 2002. The couple did try hard and struggled a lot to conceive again. They already have twin daughters, Tabitha and Loretta who are now seven years old.

7. Nicole Kidman:

Nicole and her husband, Keith Urban kept all in secret about having a child. Nicole explained in an interview that she prefers to use the term "gestational carrier"instead of "surrogate". She said something she was criticized for in the days following the announcement of baby Faith's birth. Faith was born on 8th July 2008.

In an interview with Today, Fallon revealed details on their process to create a family and why they kept it between the two of them.
