After the Harvey Weinstein revelations surfaced, Actor Alyssa Milano's online movement "MeToo" increasingly became a conversation about men's misbehavior towards women.

Along with the commoners, a lot of well-known and famous celebrities spoke out against sexual harassment using the hashtag me too. Some even narrated their horrific ordeal.

The latest one to join is former artistic gymnast McKayla Maroney who took to social media and revealed that she too has been a victim of sexual abuse at the hands of her Team Doctor during Olympics.

The multiple Olympic gold medalist shared an image on Twitter, where she candidly opened up about her alleged abuse by doctor Larry Nassar. In the shared image she mentioned how the abuse started when she was 13 and lasted until the end of her career in the year 2016.

She said, "People should know that this is not just happening in Hollywood. This is happening everywhere. Dr. Nassar told me I was receiving medically necessary treatment that he had been performing on patients for over 30 years. It seemed whenever and wherever this man could find the chance, I was 'treated."

She added that the scariest night of her life was when she was 15 and was traveling with the crew on a flight to Tokyo. She wrote, "The next thing I know, I was all alone with him in his hotel room getting a 'treatment.' I thought I was going to die that night."

Larry Nassar is currently in prison and is facing 22 counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and 11 counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct He pleaded guilty to the charges of possessing and receiving child pornography and destroying as well as hiding the material evidence.
