Baba Ramdev ventured into FMCG industry and people couldn't thank him enough! His business is growing with each passing day and some days before Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant even challenged him to launch Patanjali condoms in the market.

Now Baba Ramdev's Patanjali wants MARIJUANA to be LEGALISED in India! Pretty much shocked, right?

Well, don't be. In an interview to a leading company, CEO of Patanjali, Acharya Balkrishna said "In Ayurveda, since ancient times, parts of cannabis [hemp], for instance, have been used for medicinal purposes. So, we are looking at various formulations. We should ponder over the benefits and positive uses of the cannabis plant."

And much to our surprise, Patanjali will eliminate "harmful or intoxicating properties" before using it.

Patanjali is the second-largest pure-play FMCG giant in the market.

Meanwhile, Discovery India is all set to showcase a TV series ‘Swami: Ek Sangharsh' based on the life of Baba Ramdev.

It will be telecast on its new general entertainment channel Discovery Jeet. The show has been co-produced by Ajay Devgn Films and Watergate Production for the broadcaster.

The official statement reads, "Swami Ramdev: Ek Sangharsh's trailer and TV campaign have generated immense interest on social media and have raked up an impressive 25 million plus views on YouTube and Facebook."
