Though Varun Dhawan's performance in Kalank was praised by critics and audiences, the movie didn't perform well at the box office. And after the release of the movie, he jetting off to Thailand to celebrate his birthday with friends. On his return, he was seen rehearsing for Remo D' Souza's Street Dancer 3D.

Recently he even flew out to Dubai to shoot the last schedule of the film. But while shooting for a song, he broke down on the sets of the film. A video is also going viral where Varun is seen with tears in his eyes and on being asked if he cried after the shot, he not only admitted to it but also explained that he got emotional because he was filming a sad song. He also revealed in the end that he is better now!



Just today Varun took to his social media to shared an emotional post with Remo D'Souza and also captioned the pictures with a heartwarming message. He wrote, "Years of emotion is expressed in a single take. Give and take is the most fun part of the relationship between a director and actor #streetdancer3 #setlife #mylife #myhome."



Street Dancer 3D is helmed by Remo D'Souza, and the film also stars Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead. Street Dancer 3D is also the third instalment of the 'ABCD' franchise, which will hit theatres on November 2019. Post Street Dancer 3D, Varun will begin shooting for dad David Dhawan's remake of Coolie No. 1 alongside Sara Ali Khan.
