The #MeToo movement has created a wave in Bollywood after Tanushree Dutta hurled sexual misconduct accusations over Nana Patekar. Many people have become the front runner of this movement by pulling out the names of the accused and shaming them in public. There are some who are supporting the movement and Tanushree's case by appealing for a safer work environment.

Recently, the dissolution of Phantom Films became apparent owing to Anurag Kashyap's reluctance to succumb to the misuse of professional conduct of one of his co-partners Vikas Bahl. As Vikas Bahl was blamed for sexual misconduct by a woman employee, Anurag Kashyap who was also a partner of Phantom Films called off his association with the production house and cut off all his ties with the partners of the company.

Owing to the same, the digital streaming giant has dropped Vikas Bahl as the director of Amazon Prime's next. Informing about the same, a source revealed to a leading tabloid, "The project is being produced by Monozygotic Solutions, which is owned by Raghu Ram and Rajiv Lakshman of Roadies fame. The show was a reboot of an Australian series that revolves around couples spicing up their sex lives. It was scheduled to roll by year-end. But with the latest controversy, Amazon wouldn't be comfortable backing it with Vikas on board. The production house has discussed the matter with Amazon, and will soon start scouting for another director."

The intensity of the movement against Vikas Bahl has certainly affected his involvement in other projects, including his upcoming production Super 30. Reports state that Bahl will not be included in the promotions of the movie. "The post-production has to be done under his supervision because it would be impractical to bring someone new on board at this stage. But after that, Vikas will be asked to dissociate himself from the film," said an insider.
