Varun Dhawan confirms Shraddha Kapoor as the new leading lady in ABCD 3

One actor's loss has always been another gain in the Bollywood industry; and that is exactly what has happened this time around with Shraddha Kapoor. 


The ‘Baaghi' actress will be replacing Katrina Kaif in Remo D'souza's most expensive dance film ever. The film is Remo's dream project and will have Varun Dhawan play the lead alongside Shraddha Kapoor and the two of them will be representing the Indian contingent on the global platform and will have multiple dance face-off. The film is touted as a Bollywood make of the Hollywood franchise of the movie series of ‘Step Up'.

 
The ever quirky ‘Judwaa 2' actor; Varun Dhawan shared a quirky post welcoming Shraddha on board, after Katrina Kaif opted out of the film owing to date issues with her Salman Khan project ‘Bharat'.

Shraddha has confirmed the news by saying, "I'm excited to reunite with Remo sir, Prabhudehva sir and Varun after ABCD 2. This was made possible by Bhushanji who brought us back and believed in this amazing story. It is going to be a lot of hard work for everyone involved but we are all pumped up."


Producer Bhushan Kumar; the producer of the film has said," The audience has already seen Varun and Shraddha's chemistry now, Remo will redefine dance for our audience."


The film; that many as alleging to be a sequel to ABCD-2, will show Varun as a boy from Punjab who is raised in London. The film will tentatively go on floors this Month and will be extensively be shot in UK and Punjab. The makers are supposedly looking at releasing the film in the last quarter of this year and may lock 8th November as the release date. 


Talking about finalizing the cast; director Remo D'souza has said," It feels like old friends have come together to help us. We have worked as a team in the past and I'm sure it will be a fun ride again."
The film will also star Nora Fatehi and mark the Bollywood debut of Mukti Mohan.
