Mission Mangal which is a film based on the women behind the launch of India's mission to Mars is creating a lot of buzz. The stellar cast includes Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari and Sharman Joshi. But when the first poster of the film was released, Akshay Kumar's face took almost half of the space on the poster and people began questioning the same. The makers were questioned as to why a women-oriented film's poster has a male actor occupying more space.

Taapsee Pannu in her recent interview spoke about the same. She said, "It is great people notice that also then those same people can do something about the collections of a female-driven film. Because Akshay Kumar will get the audience in the theatre, that is the hard fact. All of us are great work in our own capacities. But, he will still manage to get a bigger number, at the end of the day. We cannot run away from this reality. Whatever issue happened with the poster, hope people realise it and do something about rather than questioning the makers. The audience can change things by walking into theatres where women are at the forefront. Hopefully, in the future it shouldn't be about the gender, but whose films get the numbers. Eventually, it is a business and about how much money your films can make."

The tailer of Mission Mangal received a lot of appreciations from fans, and fans are looking forward to watch the movie. The film is helmed by Jagan Shakti and produced by Akshay Kumar himself and R Balki. Even the song Dil Mein Mars Hai that dropped recently also received an overwhelming response from the audience. Mission Mangal will hit the silver screens on Independence Day, i.e, August 15, 2019.
