Filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh has said that he is not really fond of making a biopic on a popular personality as he doesn't want to peep into anyone's private life. Despite biopics, being the flavour of the season, Sujoy has not shown interest in the genre. "I am not particularly fond of biopics. It is a very subjective thing. I like people and their work. I mean, for example, R.D. Burman or Kishore Kumar, I love their songs and music. But I am not interested in their personal life," he said.

After enthralling the audiences with his short film 'Ahalya', the filmmaker is currently working on another short film project. Sujoy has picked up a story written by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Satyajit Ray. Sujoy has talked about the possibility of adapting Ray's story 'Anukul' at the end of the year. ‘Anukul' is one of Ray's best-known stories and deals with the relationship between a robotic housekeeper and the owner. Sujoy found fame by directing the critically acclaimed Kahaani franchise which featured actress Vidya Balan in the lead role. Sujoy also feels that short films are the trend nowadays but making a short film in a limited time is a difficult task.

Rumours were doing the rounds that the filmmaker may work with actress Jacqueline Fernandez in his next venture but Sujoy has denied these rumours. Sujoy feels that he still has a long way to go in mastering the art of storytelling as it is what most filmmakers aspire to do.
