Kabir Singh starrer Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani is still going pretty strong at the box office even in the 4th weekend and has also now managed to achieve yet another feat

Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani Kabir Singh starrer Kabir Khan, even with a lot of controversy with the movie and the statements made by the director Sandeep Vanga, it has yet received rave reviews and is still doing exceptionally well at the box office. And even after Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 has hit the theatres, the movie is still doing strong even in the 4th weekend. The movie raked in almost Rs. 10.34 crore in its 4th weekend, while the movie overall crossed Rs. 250 crore mark.

The movie has also managed to achieve another feat this week as it managed to take on the biggest box office success in regards to the collection in the 4th weekend, Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju and Aamir Khan's Dangal, and now stands 3rd, whereas Uri: The Surgical Strike and Baahubali 2 made Rs. 18.94 cr and Rs. 18.30 cr respectively.

Kabir Singh is also Shahid's first solo blockbuster which has earned these remarkable earnings despite the massive controversy it was involved in due to its film's content. Kabir Singh is also a remake of Telugu hit Arjun Reddy and has received a lot of criticism from a section of the audience as they claimed the movie glorified abusive and misogynistic character. Kabir Singh tells the story of a short-tempered surgeon who chooses the path of self-destruction after his girlfriend played by Kiara Advani is forced to marry another man.

Shahid also took to his Instagram and thanked his fans for all the love he received. He wrote, "Your love is so overwhelming words will always fall short. Thank you for understanding him forgiving him and loving him with all your heart. We all fall apart. And we all must strive to rise from our faults. To be better. To be wiser. To be kinder. He is flawed. So are we all. You didn't judge him you experienced him. You understood him. I have never ever felt so thankful. The most flawed character I have ever played. Has become my most loved. Indeed the indian cinema and the audience has come a long way."
