The #MeToo movement has raised the voice of the entire nation to condemn the sexual predators that are existing at the workplaces and film industry. Ever since Tanushree Dutta revived her sexual harassment case against Nana Patekar, many celebrities have mustered the courage to put their best foot forward to unveil the culprits, who are whipping the moral and professional conduct of the workplace by engaging in the age old illicit tradition of sexual misconduct in Bollywood.

The movement is growing stronger day by day with everyone teaming up to eradicate the age old illicit practice from Bollywood. As the cleansing has just begun, the Producers Guild Of India is taking the plunge to set up a committee to ensure a safe and secured workplace for its employees, crew, staff and the actors / actresses.

Amidst initiating the guidelines for the same, actor Emraan Hashmi exclusively showed his support to the movement and expressed that he would include a sexual harassment clause in his contracts. In an interaction with a leading tabloid, Emraan said, "For some women, a mildly flirtatious remark could be tantamount to sexual harassment. Men are on tenterhooks because what is said in jest, can be misconstrued and one could be fried. In the circumstances, lying down a universal moral code on the film set, dictated by the government's guidelines, is the need of the hour. This will safeguard the interests of women and men will be forewarned so they don't cross the line. In my company at least, it will include both male and female cast and crew members."

Moreover, Emraan Hashmi feels that the movement is the great beginning and it is the duty of the men to guard women in every circumstance. He said, "In this scenario, this movement is a great start. It's our moral responsibility to protect women who have been at the receiving end for way too long but while most of the voices are speaking the truth, along with devious men, there are devious women with agendas too, who can use it against a man who has ticked them off in the past."
