The recent announcement of R Balki's Mangal Mission starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan has stirred enough excitement among the masses. Ever since then, the interesting casting coup and the subject of the film has grabbed headlines in every media platform.

After Sharman Joshi, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari, and Nithya Menon, actor Sanjay Kapoor joins the cast of Mangal Mission wherein he will play the role of a husband of Vidya Balan.

Confirming about his involvement in the project, Sanjay Kapoor revealed to a leading tabloid, "Vidya and I play a married couple in the film. We both are from Chembur and I keep joking with her that two Chemburites are finally working together. Interestingly, I also have a connection with Akshay. We were in the same dance class before we started our careers. He is very energetic and enthusiastic. Once, I met him at his office around 9 am for a workshop and was surprised to know that he had reached there at 7 am. In fact, his office was buzzing with activity. You learn a lot when you work with good actors and it's a pleasure to act alongside Vidya and Akshay."

Commenting about marking success with his return in the realm of Bollywood, the actor said, "I think my patience for the right opportunity and not doing riff-raff roles has paid off. Not that I was flooded with offers, but I didn't want to take up just anything. My turn in 'Luck By Chance' was appreciated by many, but somehow, it didn't materialise into more work, which was quite surprising. I can't pinpoint what's working for me now. Maybe, it's the right time and destiny is favouring me; luck also plays a major role in getting good work. I also feel that I was in the transition phase and must not have fit into a lot of roles 10 years ago, which I do now. The only thing I have in my control is to be on my toes and work hard on myself."
