Salman Khan said it is painful to lose weight after gaining for Sultan

Actor Salman Khan has admitted that his having a tough time losing weight that he gained while shooting his film ‘Sultan’.

Actor Salman Khan is currently facing trouble losing all the weight that he gained while shooting for his successful film ‘Sultan’ in which he played the role of a wrestler. The actor described his journey for gaining weight to losing it as a painful one. Salman gained a lot of weight to portray an aging wrestler in the film. "There is a lot of pain in undergoing a physical transformation. I have been training for 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and there is another film that I am training - it's a dance film (referring to Remo D'Souza film),” Salman said.

Salman also revealed that he weighed 96 kgs for Sultan, but has shed around 20 kgs now. The actor spoke about his physical transformation at the Zee Cine Awards. Salman will be seen next in Kabir Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ which is reportedly based on the Indo-China war and also stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, Shatrughan Sinha, Sohail Khan and Late Om Puri in crucial roles. This is the director’s third outing with Salman after having worked with him in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, both of which were successful at the box office.

Other than that, Salman is also working on the sequel of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ which is expected to release around Christmas this year. Salman and Katrina will be seen together after 5 years in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar is directing the film and shooting has been going on for some days now. The film is expected to clash with Sanjay Dutt’s biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor.
