Actor Salman Khan recently featured in the highest paid celebrities list for the year 2017 compiled by Forbes magazine. The magazine estimated the actor's income to be $38 million last year, but the actor recently addressed the list in an interview and said that he doesn't know where this money goes and he discussed the same with Shah Rukh Khan, who also features in the list. The actor said that he hasn't been able to buy his house and always falls short of some amount. "I don't have that money. I was going through it and going, "Yeh paise kahan hai, bhai? Kidhar?" When a film makes Rs 500 crore, only a very nominal amount from that comes to you. It's just that your business is worth Rs 500 crore," Salman said.

The actor further said that he considers himself a very bad businessman and most the money that he makes is taken by his business partner and the rest is used to pay the taxes. The actor further said that he tries putting all the money earned from the Being Human business into charitable practices.

On the work front, Salman's latest release ‘Tubelight' has had a decent box office opening but has not managed to win over critics who have been lashing out at the film due to its hollow story. Salman's films don't really have much to offer critics with but the audiences have that craze for the commercial element present in Salman's films over the years but now remains to be seen how the film fares in the coming days.
