After almost a year of break from the Bollywood industry due to health reasons, Rishi Kapoor who is now better is looking forward to returning back to Mumbai and facing the camera. He recently had a lengthy phone conversation all the way from New York where he opens up about how he overcame his battle with cancer, the things he learnt and also spoke about his film 'Jhootha Kahin Ka' (JKK), directed by Smeep Kang.

He also spoke about how he is overwhelmed by people calling his son Ranbir Kapoor and ask if he could work in their films. But he revealed that he currently cannot commit to anything now as he doesn't know when he would be returning back to Mumbai. He also stated that he would get back to filming at leisures, not because something is wrong but because he wants to get into the groove first.

Rishi who has been away from films for some time now revealed that he had a couple of blood transfusions and he jokes about the same with wife, wondering if something has changed in him. But he spoke about his commitments to the two films he made, one that he left off in Delhi and the other which is a remake of a Bengali hit, and revealed that he will do the two films.

Rishi now wants to relax for a few days once he gets to know his plans to return to Mumbai. He also jokes about how he might have also forgotten acting as he stayed away from the camera for such a long time. He revealed that this hasn't happened in the last 45 years, except for the one time he directed 'Aa Ab Laut Chalen' that was shot in New York and it was for a year almost, he did not face the camera. But he immediately did character roles in films like 'Raju Chacha' and 'Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi' after that.
