The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 in India begins. While many Bollywood actors were previously seen urging people of the country to vote, They didn't support any political parties. However, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's pics were recently photoshopped where they can be seen promoting BJP.

In the pics shared on Facebook, Deepika and Ranveer are seen wearing saffron scarves with slogans written on them which urge people to ‘Vote for BJP.' But actually, these pics are of them visiting Siddhivinayak temple as newlyweds with their family when they tied the knot. Because these actors are very popular, this post is used to misguide the people.

In the photoshopped pictures, Deepika's dupatta had the slogan, ‘Vote for PM Modi' while Ranveer's scarf also has the same written on it. The post has garnered a lot of attention and over 2600 people have shared it.

Just a few months back, Ranveer Singh with other Bollywood celebs such as Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and more visited PM Modi. After meeting the Prime Minister he said, "He had something to say to us, which was, that if possible, we should choose content that has in it a message of inclusive India and unity. I was very happy to report to him that my next film 83 is one such film where it's truly team India. You have gentlemen from all across the country coming together to make the nation proud.''

Recently Deepika shared a throwback pic of a much younger version of herself, where she is seen enjoying a meal at what appears to be a birthday party and she captioned it hilariously: "Forever hungry... and nothing's changed!" To which her husband Ranveer Singh replied saying, "I can vouch for that! Nothing's changed!"
