Despite receiving treatment for his undisclosed treatment in the US; looks like the only thing on veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is films, and how soon can he get back to business.

Ranbir Kapoor; who recently won the Zee Cine Best Actor Award for his role in Sanju, gave an extremely emotional acceptance speech, where he dedicated the award to his father but also spoke about the veteran's job insecurities that the ‘Amar Akbar Anthony' actor is facing at the moment.

Ranbir said," I would like to dedicate this award to very special people in my life, starting with my father. He is going through a little bit of a rough patch in his life and I have often heard that whenever you come at crossroads in your life, you can really tell who you are as a person."

He further revealed," Whenever I speak to him, he only talks about movies. He only talks about ‘how is this film?', ‘how is this film doing?', ‘how is this performance?', what are you doing in this scene? And more so, he speaks to me about his insecurities that when he gets back, will he get to work in movies? Whether people will offer him films? Will he be able to act in movies?"

Rishi left his fans shocked when he flew to the United States last year to seek medical treatment. However; the Sanju actor revealed that his father is doing well and shall return soon. During a media interaction, Ranbir revealed," He's (Rishi) doing very well, and he will be back very soon. He is missing the movies and working in films. I really hope that with all your wishes and prayers he comes back very soon."

For those living under the rock; the father and son duo never shared one of the best relationships, but things certainly seem to be changing. And with Neetu Kapoor's post a few days back, we certainly can't help but feel touched by the newfound bond that the father and son are exploring.

On the professional front; Rishi was last seen in 102 Not Out opposite Amitabh Bachchan which was based on the eponymous Gujarati play written by Saumya Joshi, and was directed by Umesh Shukla.
